My journey with football began in the streets of Athens, playing barefoot as a child. It quickly captured my heart and became a cherished way to connect with friends.

In 2019, my involvement in football took a deeper turn when my wife began playing at Super5. I was always there to support her, and before long, we founded Olympia Infinity FC — a club born from a shared mission to empower women, offer a sense of belonging, and reintroduce them to the beautiful game.

Today, I’m more committed than ever to making a meaningful impact in women’s football. With the opportunity to contribute to the game’s growth and transformation, I look forward to what’s ahead. This is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

José brings a wealth of knowledge and success from all different facets of football to Super 5 along with over 30 years of coaching experience

Reflecting on his involvement with Super 5, José adds: “I immediately fell in love with the spirit and the enjoyment of the players. It’s football played at all levels, but always with passion. At Super 5, we aim to nurture this community spirit—creating an environment that is fair, welcoming, and above all, safe for everyone involved. I’ve been really impressed by the way teams have embraced affiliation, which is so important for things like insurance coverage in case of serious injury.

Steve (Pirate) is Head Referee along with Safeguarding and Welfare Lead for Super 5 League. Steve has been involved with Super 5 League since close to it’s inception and into the current new format.
